The Wheel Pit Session 2 It was planned that all 3 sessions would have been completed by now but we have had to delay the final weekend so here is an update so far. The second session was booked in for mid December. As the day approached so did a weather front which deposited 40cm of snow on Cromford. A new project is underway at Cromford Venture Centre to conduct an archaeological excavation of a redundant wheel pit on the Centre’s play area.
