Arkwright the Duck

A new arrival at Cromford Mills is hoping to raise much needed funds for the Arkwright Society’s major fundraising campaign that launched earlier this year.

Arkwright the Duck is Cromford Mills’ new cuddly mascot. Made exclusively for the Mill, the ducks make the perfect gift with all proceeds going directly to the fundraising campaign.

The Arkwright Society needs to raise £250,000 over the coming two years to support its day to day activities whilst the new Gateway and Creative Cluster is being developed and which is due to open in the Spring of 2014. Once opened the new facilities will not only ensure that visitors to the Mill have a truly informative and interesting visit but will also provide the Society with the income needed to maintain the site.
