There is a range of shops available at Cromford Mill

Shop in the Yard
Sells books on specialist subjects such as history, local history, architecture, industrial archaeology, guide books and maps, videos, old-fashioned childrens toys and a wide range of souvenirs. It also sells tickets for the guided tours of the mill site, and even food for the ducks who live in the mill yard.

Trading at Cromford for over 20 years, this shop sells a constantly changing range of clothes and accessories.

Open Monday – Friday selling computer consumables.

Country Colours
Has a range of greetings cards as wide as you will find anywhere, plus bags, scarves, jewellery, fair trade soapstone bowls and sisal baskets made by co-operatives in Kenya, notecards and stationery, candles, Denby glass, Crich pottery and Jellycat toys.

Arkwright's Attic
Raises funds for six projects supported by The Arkwright Society by selling second hand books and bric-a-brac. The Attic is open subject to the availability of volunteers to staff it, so please call ahead to check if the Attic is open if it is your main reason for visiting Cromford Mill.

The Charity Christmas Card Shop
Sells cards from more than 40 charities plus unusual and traditional decorations, gift wrap and tags, Christmas food treats and calendars. The Christmas Card Shop is open from August to December each year.

Stunning new canal side book shop restaurant opening February 2005.

Walkers and visitors will find a whole range of useful and interesting items to buy in our shop including a selection of books, wildlife articles (bird nesting boxes, children's gardening tools etc.), wildlife videos, maps, walking items, dog leads and other pet accessories/equipment.

In the restaurant visitors will be able to enjoy a delicious variety of homemade foods such as jacket potatoes, soups, sandwiches, cakes, pastries and hot/cold drinks.
